The Starlighter

Since childhood, Dan has looked to the stars with wonder. Through years of personal darkness, marked by depression and alcoholism, his lifelong fascination with astronomy became a source of solace, guiding him towards a renewed sense of purpose.

Now, beneath the dark skies of Northumberland, Dan shares the universe he loves with others, hoping to pass on the wonder and hope that once sustained him. Weaving together memories of his past and glimpses of his present, The Starlighter is an intimate portrait of a man who found light in the vastness of the cosmos, and devoted himself to illuminating the lives of others.
